About Jack Ward — IT Technician & Support Specialist

Passion Fuels Purpose!

Biography

I’m Jack Ward, an IT technician specialising in end-user support and hardware diagnostics. What began as a childhood interest in technology has grown into a career built around troubleshooting, maintaining and improving the systems people rely on every day.

I currently work at Guild Care, where I carry out portable appliance testing alongside a customer-facing retail role. My technical experience comes from placements across education, social housing and manufacturing — covering hardware diagnostics, Active Directory and Azure administration, and frontline user support.

I believe effective IT support goes beyond fixing faults — it’s about giving people the confidence to use technology well. I bring a methodical approach, clear communication and a user-first mindset to every problem I take on.
